E.B.I. born Abraham Ebimielen deep in Surulere in the early 80’s, is the hottest up and coming talent on the music scene in Nigeria. His video “Drop it Low” featuring Floyd and N’Dizzle blew up TV screens across Nigeria and the continent last year, including high rotation play on MTV base, Soundcity, Nigezie, Channel O and terrestrial stations including STV, DBN, Super Screen, LTV, etc.
E.B.I.’s track, titled “You No Dey Look Face” is a rebel’s anthem with a pulsing call to action and hypnotic back beat. A forthcoming studio album is said to be in the completion stage.
Not only is E.B.I. a talented rapper, singer, performer, songwriter and producer, he also directs and produced his latest music video. He is a true creative talent and all around artist.
His music career kicked off in his teens when he started rolling with groups like the DOMINANCE, the UNDERGROUND MCs and Da GROOVY. In his quest for an ultimate spring into limelight, he got an appointment to work as studio attendant where he learnt some the techniques of music, TV and film studio production and later gained valuable on the ground experience working extensively with Storm 360 and other well known production houses.
