Tinie Tempah is a man with a highly successful first record under his belt and several awards to boot. In a recent interview, Tinie Tempah spoke at length about the next record, stating that new material will be previewed around September 2011, and that he had been in the studio working with Pharrell.

The second album is well under way, it's sounding amazing. I've been in the studio with Pharrell quite a lot recently and obviously Stargate [producer]. The first album has done so many amazing things, I want to make sure the second one is twice as good." Said Tinie.The rapper also spoke about future collaborations and has reportedly discussed a collaboration with Usher. Kayne West and Sleigh Bells were two other acts Tinie Tempah stated he would like to work with.
The first album, Disc Overy, is enjoying considerable success in the U.S at the moment with the single, Written in the Stars, doing particularly well. Tempah also played eight tracks on the Live on Letterman show on Ed Sullivan on Broadway last night, and included the track, Til Im Gone, and other first album tunes.
"Written in the Stars, has done incredibly well out here, it's gone platinum. We just released the album today, so far it's number ten in iTunes so I'm very, very excited."
Tinie Tempahs achievement at cracking the U.S market should not be understated. Not many British artists have been able to do it.
